OUR SERVICES

Dr. Howard Misheloff O.D. has been an optometrist for over thirty years. Dr. Misheloff is licensed to use diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical drugs to diagnose and treat eye diseases. Dr. Misheloff's office has a wonderful, caring staff! And we are a bilingual office, English and Spanish. We are here to help you, what ever your eye care needs are.
  • Eye Examinations: Dr. Misheloff performs a comprehensive eye exam which includes a thorough search for internal and external diseases of the eye. The exam includes refraction of the eye, checks for muscle imbalances, checks of the eye color and perception, as well as tests for cataracts and glaucoma.
  • Children's Eye Exams: Dr. Misheloff examines children starting at age one. It is very important to start eye care for your child at an early age as poor vision can affect your child's ability to learn and interact in social situations. Dr. Misheloff utilizes special testing for young children which would not ordinarily be used on adults.
  • Contact Lens Specialist: Dr. Misheloff fits all types of contact lenses including astigmatic, bifocal, sleep-in, gas permeable, hard and soft contact lenses. He specializes in successfully fitting patients previously labeled as "hard to fit patients". Dr. Misheloff is a member of the A.O.A. Cornea and Contact Lens Specialty section.
  • Designer Eyewear: Dr. Misheloff offers an extensive selection of designer eyewear at discount prices. Specialty spectacle lenses such as no-line progressive bifocals, thin high-index lenses, Transitions (light-to-dark), anti-reflective (glare) and scratch resistant lenses are also available.
  • Lasik Eye Surgery: Dr. Misheloff co-manages the care of patients with TLC Laser Eye Surgery centers to rid individuals of the need for glasses and contact lenses. The latest surgical techniques are used to provide excellent results.
  • Treatment of Eye Disease: Dr. Misheloff is licensed to treat diseases of the anterior segment of the eye with prescription medicines.
